Mr. Urreta has been associated with the law firm of O'Connor Redd Orlando LLP since 2009 and became a Partner in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Urreta was associated with the firm of Lester Schwab Katz & Dwyer, where he defended large-loss liability claims. Mr. Urreta currently litigates general liability and Labor Law claims; insurance coverage disputes; and property damage actions. He has successfully resolved cases through litigation and alternative dispute resolution forums. Mr. Urreta has tried cases to verdict in the state of New York and successfully argued appeals in the First and Second Departments. He is admitted to the Eastern and Southern District Courts of the United States. Mr. Urreta has represented an assortment of clients, third-party administrators and insurance companies, including Harleysville Insurance Co., Lexington Insurance, Chartis Insurance, Farmers Insurance and Zurich Insurance.
