LaWanda M. Geter has been associated with the firm since 2017. Her practice involves the defense of personal injury matters arising from premises, automobile, and construction-related accidents with an emphasis on New York State Labor Law §§240 and 241(6) claims.

Prior to joining O’Connor Redd LLP, Ms. Geter worked at two other prominent civil insurance defense litigation firms. She also clerked for a New York State Supreme Court Judge. While in law school, she externed with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. Prior to joining the legal profession, Ms. Geter worked as a commercial lender.
